SEEK GOD AND GOD WILL SEEK YOU

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness And all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33
Main Text:

Many people in church today are so carried away by the things they could likely get from the Giver. Instead of seeking after God, they are busy fighting for what they could get from Him. Many of them are quick to judge when after reading through the story of the children of Israel are swift to say that those ones are after what they will eat meanwhile they are not different.

Beloved of God, there is need for you to know that, those who seek God will be sought after by men of substance. Jesus went out to pray very early in the morning and by the time He came back everybody was busy looking for Him. He became the sought after. Listen to this: those who seek God are sought after by men. Until you get lost in your quest for God you cannot find Him. But when you demonstrate unreserved commitment in seeking Him, He will cause those things that men are running after to abound in your life with ease-‘Ashe irorun.’

Remember the man by the name Zechariah, the husband of Elizabeth, and the father of John the Baptist, though he delayed in child bearing, he was not moved by that clause in his life. He was busy seeking the God of Israel, the Bible says he was righteous, blameless and walked in all the commandments and ordinances of God yet without a child but God visited him in the course of his seeking Him and he became a father.

Eternity is too precious for you to be seeking after perishable and immaterial things of this world, His word cannot change, He said don’t seek things, rather seek Him and He will make all grace abound in your life that you may be all sufficiently rich as you walk with Him in this year of prevailing Word.

Prayer: Lord, help me to know you better in Jesus name
