DELAY IS NOT DENIAL
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
Main Text: Main text: Romans 8:28
If God has given you a promise that is yet to be fulfilled, take comfort in the assurance that God has a good plan for your life. Even when it seems like His vision for your life is taking a long time to unfold, do not be discouraged. The passing of days into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years does not diminish the power of God's promises. Remember, God is on the throne, and His words never return to Him void. Isaiah 55:11 "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Additionally, Psalm 62:11 emphasizes that power belongs to God "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God." In times of waiting and uncertainty, hold on to the unwavering truth that God's promises are sure, and His timing is perfect.
The apparent silence of God doesn't indicate His absence; rather, it often signifies His hidden work in the background. Similar to a construction project progressing behind a wall, we may not always perceive the advancement, but that doesn't imply inactivity. God is actively orchestrating His good plan, and the current set of circumstances is a necessary preparation for the fulfillment of His purposes.
During moments of uncertainty or when God's voice seems silent, trust in His overarching plan and rest in the assurance that He is at work for the good of those who love Him and are aligned with His purpose. A delay is not denial, but a time of preparing you for the promise.
Confession:
God has great plans for my life; therefore, I decree, I attain and achieve all God has in store for me, I fulfill purpose and walk in divine favor.
