THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL

“Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”
Job 1:10
Main Text:

Man is a spirit. Man was formed and created. The inward man was created while the outward man was formed (Gen 1:27 & Gen 2:7). When man fell, he lost the authority God had given him on the earth to the devil, making Satan the god of this world.

In Job 1, we see typically who the devil is. Satan had just got out of a meeting with God and the other Angels and decided to take God on His word. He decided to attack Job and in one day we Job loses his animals, the messenger had not finished speaking when he got news that his servants and sheep had burnt up, he hadn’t finish speaking when he got news that he was robbed of his camels and his servants were killed, he hadn’t finished speaking when he heard that his children were dead, in one day, his world came crumbling. More so, in another meeting with God (Job 2:3) we see the devil wanting to attack Job’s health. Job eventually became sick.

These are the works of the devil, he attacks your business, your health, your finance, your family and all that pertains to you, however the good news is this, Jesus came and died on your behalf. On the cross, he destroyed the works of the devil and gave you authority over him. Your health is perfect in Christ, your finances is whole in Christ, all that you need for life and godliness has been given to you in Christ Jesus! Satan can’t harm you, Satan can’t touch you, he is a defeated foe! A toothless bull dog! Jesus won for you the victory.

Confession: I am blessed, I am fruitful. I enjoy divine health; no sickness or disease is permitted to live in my body. I am the temple of God, therefore, I enjoy the fullness of God speedily.
