A NEW YOU
“And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.”
Luke 6:12
Main Text: Main Text: Psalm 102:17
There's a hidden aspect of yourself that remains undiscovered until you invest extended time in prayer. Through prayer, you strengthen your spiritual self and weaken the influence of the flesh. It's in prayer that you assert your presence in the spiritual realm and enhance your authority.
While Jesus' sacrifice made you a new creation, it's through prayer that this transformation manifests. For example, although we possess power, neglecting prayer keeps this power dormant. Similarly, without prayer, your renewed self remains inactive, allowing the devil to interfere with your destiny.
Luke 6:12 “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.” Jesus, fully human and fully God, dedicated extended hours to prayer as an example for us to follow. Just as He committed Himself to prayer, we too must devote significant time to prayer in our lives.
As you dedicate a significant amount of time in prayer, especially in the Holy Ghost, a new you will emerge that will disrupt that works of darkness and show forth the marvelous light of God.
Confession:
I declare, I love the Lord and I fellowship constantly with Him, I am dedicated to His presence. As I spend time with the Lord, the real me emerges and I take territories for Jesus, Amen.
