BECAUSE HIS WORD SAYS SO

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Isaiah 40:8 KJV
Main Text:

It was during the New Years Eve of 2013 and I had a long list of prayer requests I wanted God to fulfil in the New Year. I believed God strongly that He would answer me. Months down the line, two of those requests were answered. I got pregnant and my husband got promoted but then something unexpected happens; my husband goes missing all of a sudden which almost turned my world upside down. How do you go about life wondering if you had never made those requests? Is God still God in the life of this woman? Has God failed to hear her prayer requests? What do you think?

If you are going through something as worse as what this lady is experiencing, how do you keep believing God irrespective of all you have been through?

The answer is "keep your trust in the Lord’’ Prov 3:5-6 says "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Even when it gets so tough and it seems like you are the only one suffering, learn to trust God. This is because His Word never fails and even though you feel alone, God is always there with you.

Three years down the line, I look back and wonder how I have survived. How did I take care of myself and my kids? God reminds me that it's His grace that kept me.

Because His word says so that He will never leave me nor forsake me. So my mind is made up to trust God and His Word and abide by what His Word says because His Word prevails.

Are you ready to whole heartedly trust God despite your situation? Are you willing to let go of doubts? If yes, then devote your life trusting Him because the Word of God is powerful and has the ability to prevail over your circumstances in this 2018!

Prayer: O Lord let your Word keep me on in this world
