THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU

The above reference was the statement of Jesus when He was about to ascend into the heavens, after His resurrection. It is true that now, the moment one receives Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit automatically comes into the person, however, there is a level of baptism of the Holy Spirit and this is the level where the real qualities of a believer would begin to manifest. However, we should not mistake speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit baptism, rather, it is an evidence of the baptism so, if you don’t speak in tongues don’t feel incomplete, but it’s good that we all speak in tongues, (refer to earlier article in this edition please).

Beloved, the differences that will occur in a believer’s life that will really show a transformation from the kingdom of darkness to light are the manifestation of the work of the Holy Spirit. The evidence that He is in you is that you will speak in new tongues, discern good and evil heal the sick bold to preach , He will comfort you, guide, help you, teach you all things and make you the person God wants you to be in life. God by the help of the Holy Spirit will locate you among many and single you out for His out pouring of blessing. Be baptized by Him today! Let me remind you that, when you sin, you provoke the Spirit of God and when you fail to repent having been warned severally by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit can vacate your life and mark you, all sorts of demonic attack will have free lunch in your life, God forbid!                 

Prayer: Father, thank You for gift of the Holy Spirit who teaches me all things.
