DO NOT BE QUIET; PREACH

“And he said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
Mark 16:15 (ESV)
Main Text: 2 Timothy 2:10-15 (KJV)

Preach the word! You’ve been instructed by God to preach the gospel of Christ; you’re to tell the sinners about Jesus and search for the unreached. It’s a task for everyone who is in Christ; you’ve got a ministry to your world; so don’t be unserious with it. The Lord knows you require courage to achieve this, hence He gave you the Holy Spirit, to strengthen and empower you for the task. Have that inner fortitude to make the Gospel known at any cost, and be willing to do anything that’s right and necessary for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it’s the greatest cause to live for.

It’s important that we are instant in season and out of season, our Lord Jesus commanded us to preach His Word. It’s not a job reserved for the pastor only, it’s a commandment that every believer is expected to yield to. Preach the Word when it’s easy, preach it when it’s hard. Speak to someone daily about Jesus, it should be your oxygen!

2 Tim 4:2 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season”. Preach the Word at all times, most times you might not feel up to it but endeavor to proclaim the saving messaging of Jesus which you so freely enjoy. Millions of people live in acute darkness because they haven’t been exposed to the message of Jesus, therefore, it’s important we show them love by sharing the message of Jesus with them.

A lot of people have been playing games when it comes to the gospel. They claim to be faith people publicly, but in private, they never speak about the Bible at all.

Confession: I commit to the furtherance of the gospel, I will preach the Word, I spread the Word of Faith, and many men come to the knowledge of Christ through me.

[Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.”
