WHO SHALL ASCEND INTO THE HILL?
“Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?â€
Psalm 24:3
Main Text:
Every word from the Lord is sure and must be carefully considered. God’s words brought the whole earth and all that is therein into existence. God and His Word are the same. You cannot separate God from His Word. John 1:1. There’s nothing ordinary about His word and for this very reason, you must neither joke nor trivialize God. He has instructed you unto salvation, holiness, prosperity and prompt preparation for the world to come. His word should be your daily guide unto all truth and your escape from the horrors and errors of this age. If faithfully considered and strictly adhered to, you will miss none of His blessings here on earth and you will have a hope of eternity with Him.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word ‘fresh’ as ‘not stale, musty, or faded’ or ‘pure, untainted, refreshing.’ This gives an impression of health rather than luxury. We all require certain things to be fresh. We need fresh air and water daily. It’s amazing the wonderful effects fresh air and clean water have on us.
You need clean hands and a pure heart to fellowship intimately with God. If your heart and thoughts are loaded with sin and your hands dirty with corruption, you will find it difficult to fellowship with Him. You need to take conscious effort on a daily basis to stay off every impediment that may cause a break in your relationship with God. “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He thasst hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” Psalm 24:3-4. He’s a holy God and will only permit those who care to live continually in holiness and true love.
What exactly is causing this age long separation between you and your God? Check your heart today and wash your hands off every dirtiness. It’s time to seek the Lord!
Prayer: O Lord, help me to live my life always in purity
