PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP 1

“Jesus often went away to other places to be alone so that he could pray.”
Luke 5:16 (ERV)
Main Text:

Jesus is our ultimate Role Model and we are expected to follow His principles. Jesus often times secluded Himself so He could fellowship with the Spirit and pray to the Father. It pleases God to answer your prayers. Psalm 35:27. God manifests Himself in the earth through believers who operate in faith. Faith makes prayer effective and it pleases God. Hebrews 11:6 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” (NLT) There will be no strong faith without deep and intimate fellowship with the Father. Fellowship is the major key to a successful prayer life. 1 John 1:3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (KJV)

Fellowship is the mother of faith because you can only put your faith and confidence in God to the degree you know Him. Just as in any relationship, spending time with Abba Father, is the only way to become personally acquainted with Him. God is a personal God not some faraway or distant idea but a person who desires a relationship with His creations. He enjoys the fellowship of His people. Leviticus 26:12 “I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be my people.” (TLB) When you don’t spend quality time with your children, anyone could tell you a lie about them, and you would believe them. This same principle applies to married couples, when there’s a deficiency in quality time between spouses, siblings, friends, and business partners, a room for distrust and doubt becomes created. Lack of fellowship causes lack of trust. If it can happen in human relationships, it can as well happen between you and your heavenly Father.

Confession: I declare, prosperity is mine, I am a representative of the kingdom, I know who I am, I function in the Kingdom as a royal ambassador of the Kingdom of God and I function in the Kingdom of Heaven, to bring the Kingdom of Heaven and its blessings upon the earth.

Prayer: No force can separate my fellowship with the Holy Spirit
