WHO LIVES IN YOU? 2

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20

Are you living the Jesus kind of life? Is Christ showing in your daily lifestyle, words, actions and reactions? Can one find two or three people in your place of work and immediate environment testifying that your life is indeed a reflection of the Lord? We need to check our lives on a daily basis, if the church will solve the problems of the world then we must wake up to our responsibilities and drop every work of the flesh and all that’s making us not to be different from the world. We are the salt of the earth, therefore, when things are going bad, you should be the solution provider simply because Jesus Christ in us is the hope of glory and therefore, we are not the foundation of evil wherever we find ourselves. You can no longer live for yourself again but by the faith of Jesus who dwells in you. You need to start living in love, making disciples for the kingdom of God and at the same time rebuking every manifestation of ungodliness wherever you are. Remember the Bible says: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If your life is not completely new you can get back to Christ for a renewal and total overhaul. Take off the garment of self, anger, pride and all manifestations of self and flesh so that you will become the Bible that the world reads. The end is near, don’t deceive yourself anymore. Be a true follower of Jesus and a bonafide citizen of the kingdom of God.

Prayer: Father, let it be evident in my character and lifestyle that I’m a true follower of your son Jesus Christ.
