MONEY: NOT THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL 2
"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows."
1 Timothy 6:10 (NLT)
Main Text:
If you serve God faithfully, you will have money which God gave men the wisdom to create. God owns the silver and gold, the cattle on a thousand hill, therefore, if you will serve him faithfully He will give you abundant wealth.
"Cry out again, thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.’' Zechariah 1:17 (ESV)
"A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things." Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV)
God desires that you have money in abundance, firstly for the promotion of His kingdom and to meet the needs of those around you. There is nothing that can be successfully done on earth without money. All transactions on earth are made possible by money; every basic need revolves around money: food, clothes, shelter, and all that make for godliness. Everything on earth, eternal life inclusive, is what makes up abundant life. Stop that false pretense that you don't need money. Admit it and you will have it because God wants to supply all your needs.
Confession: Glory to God, I am blessed beyond measure, I live in abundance, my needs are met. I am blessed to be a blessing to my world. I have authority over money.
Prayer: No influence of money shall overwhelm me
