WHO IS YOUR MASTER?

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?”
Romans 6:16
Main Text:

The grace of God is readily available for all who care to tap into it. It’s by the grace of God that we are saved and redeemed from the powers of sin so that we can be identified with the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is therefore a vital spiritual force that is required from the beginning to the end of our race. It must be your daily craving if you choose to do all the will of God. “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16. You can only serve God acceptably if you operate continually under grace.

Have you therefore been set free from the powers of sin? You need not look back again. Seek to know more of the Lord and carefully identify Him as your Lord and Saviour. You surely have a master and to whomsoever you yield yourself to obey is your master. It’s very easy to claim that Jesus is our master but what about our works and deeds? Are we truly His servants? Deep down in your heart, can you boldly say of Jesus that He’s your master? Are you serving and obeying Him in spirit and in truth or you have yielded yourself to sin and the works of the flesh? Your life truly counts and what you do in your body says a lot about who your Master is. The world is married to corruption and demonic foolishness. We are expected to be married to Christ till He finds us faithful at His second appearance in the cloud of glory.

Prayer: I renounce every work of the flesh that makes the devil lay claim over my life.
