AN EXCELLENT SPIRIT
“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.â€
Daniel 6:3
Main Text:
The Holy Spirit is an excellent Spirit and as you develop your fellowship with Him, you will begin to exhibit the nature of the God indwelling you. God created you as a unique, outstanding and extraordinary being. He made you in His image and likeness.
The word likeness refers to nature. The excellent nature of God was deposited when God created man. However, when man fell, he lost it, but God sent the man Jesus to restore that nature in a man. Therefore, when you get born again the excellent nature in you comes alive.
As children of God, we have this excellent Spirit, although it is left for us to take advantage of it. Jesus walked in excellence, and promised us that we will do greater works (John 14:12).
We must take advantage of this gift of the indwelling Christ in us. Job 32:8 “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” (KJV)
God placed His Spirit upon Bezaleel and everything about him changed, he became anointed to function in the Spirit of excellence in his vocation (Ex 32:1-5)
You are a New Testament believer, the Greater One resides in you, and therefore, everything you lay your hand on must prosper. Why? Because you possess an excellent Spirit!
Confession: I have an excellent Spirit, therefore, I excel in everything I do, I break every limitation and set forth a new status quo in my field of endeavor. I am blessed! Glory!
