THE GIFT OF SALVATION 1

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
John 3:16 (AMP)
Main Text:

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, then you are separated from God by sin. You are the reason God sent Jesus to the cross. According to John 3:16, God loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son for you.

According to 2nd Corinthians 5:21, we see God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us. Sin was the reason Jesus came to earth, died on the Cross went to hell for one reason to pay the price of sin. Once that price was paid, Jesus was raised from the dead, triumphant over Satan and the sin problem was taken care of.

God doesn’t hold your sin against you. The only thing keeping you from becoming a child of God is failure to turn from your present world and your present god – who is Satan, and make Jesus the Lord of your life.

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus, I choose to live for Jesus and proclaim him boldly in my day to day activity, in Jesus name.
