THE DANGERS OF IGNORANCE

There’s a popular saying “What you don’t know won’t hurt you” that philosophy has led to the downfall of many. Scriptures encourages us to go after knowledge, because the consequence of ignorance is costly. Ignorance is the absence of knowledge. When we fail in certain areas of our lives, it’s because we do not possess the required knowledge to excel in that area.

When it comes to ignorance, the cost can often be more significant than we realize. Ignorance can lead us down dangerous paths and have lasting consequences for ourselves and those around us. This is why we have the scriptures to help enlighten us. It illuminates our path, if we decide to yield ourselves to God’s Word. Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

ignorance stands as a formidable force with the potential for far-reaching and devastating consequences. Beyond the realms of mere lack of knowledge, ignorance possesses the power to shape our decisions, influence our perceptions, and, perhaps most significantly, cast shadows on our spiritual journey. Ignorance has the potency to erode us from understanding what Jesus did for us and this blinds us to the victory we have in Him.

Prayer:

Father in Jesus name, I refuse to remain ignorant, I consciously expose myself to knowledge. I am filled with wisdom per time, Amen.
