THE EVER FAITHFUL IS GOD
“Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.â€
Psalm 36:5.
Main Text:
One of the great characteristics of our God is His faithfulness which is from one generation to another and has never failed. All the nations of the world enjoy this great benefit today and we as children swim in the same on a daily basis. He cannot change from being our God. His throne is forever and His words are settled in heaven from the moment they were spoken. His gifts and callings are without repentance neither will He deny Himself. His words are true and He delights in the works of His hands. He has never chosen to cast us away forever, He’s always gentle and kind to show us the way everlasting and to guide us out of every error of life. Great is the faithfulness of our God unto us.
“For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?” Psalm 89:6.
Our God is more than your thoughts and experiences. You can’t compare Him with any man on earth. He has distinguished Himself with this great quality of faithfulness. It’s therefore important that you follow Him faithfully to enjoy His kingdom benefits. How soon men will fail you? The arm of flesh cannot sustain you. Though they try, they will also fail. You are the architect of your kingdom results. If you stay committed to a faithful God, He will be committed to blessing you. “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” Exodus 23:25.
The decision is yours. Will you be faithful in serving Him? Will you reject your plans to follow His agenda? Are you ready to obey Him hook, line and sinker? Do you believe in His faithfulness? Don’t get distracted. Get going with the Word of life.
Prayer: I receive the grace to stay committed and faithful to you Lord all the days of my life.
