THIS WORLD WILL SOON END
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night….â€
2 Peter 3:10
Main Text:
Knowledge of the word of God is key and very crucial if we must live victoriously here on earth. The absence of adequate knowledge is called ignorance. What you know has a predominant effect on how you live. It’s therefore important that you seek to know all that will be required for you to live a peaceful and successful life on earth. God’s word is the manual for life. With His words, you are guaranteed a life of peace and success on the earth, but if you miss His plan and purpose for your life, it then appears that life is hell on earth. Therefore, I advise you at all times, seek to discover what God has to say concerning each moment of your life. Don’t live carelessly or unconcerned, this world will not last forever. It will soon be over and then, what will be your eternal hope or expectation. 2 Peter 3:11.
Knowing that we will not always be here forever, are we not supposed to prepare for the day of the Lord which is fast nigh? It’s evident from all we can see and hear that the world isn’t the same again. The world is turning upside down and it appears to me that my people are not taking these issues seriously as it concerns the end of time. Our Lord Jesus Christ was very explicit in Mathew Chapter 24 (I recommend you go through this again) that these happenings shall alert us of the end of times. If truly the whole earth will soon melt away, how prepared are you for your home above? Surely there’s an eternal end for all but it’s either eternal life in Heaven for the saints of God or eternal damnation in hell for the unrepentant sinner. Please come to this consciousness and guard your heart with all diligence so that you don’t miss your place in the kingdom of God.
Prayer: Lord, don’t allow me to destroy my final rest with the current earthly activities
