GOD IS NEARER THAN YOU THINK
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
Psalm 145:18 KJV
Main Text:
Intimacy with God can happen right now if you want it. A closeness you can feel, a goodness you can taste, a reality you can experience for yourself. That’s what the Bible promises, so why settle for less? God is closer than you think, and connecting with him isn’t just for pastors. It’s for serious minded believer and most importantly, it’s for YOU. God Is Closer than you think shows how you can enjoy a warm, moment-by-moment relationship with your heavenly Father.
You will secure more of the presence of God through worship, fervent prayers, continuous study of His word and intimacy with the Holy Spirit. You must live constantly in holiness to access holy things and heavenly virtues.
God is not living far from you. His main place of abode is in your temple. He’s available to live and operate within you if you will allow him. He says in Revelations 3:20, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The ball is in your court. You can either allow God to work through you or deny Him access into your so called privacy. Remember there’s nothing hidden about you before Him. If you will be truly blessed, let God have His way in your life by creating room and time to serve Christ with your energy and passion. Draw near unto Him and stop forming busy with earthly schedules. It’s obvious you cannot help yourself therefore, allow God to come in and deliver you from all your troubles. By so doing, He will also prepare a place of rest for your soul. As you stay closer in your fellowship and seeking Him correctly, He will come unto you and perfect all that concerns you through His prevailing Word in the name of Jesus.
Prayer: I move closer to You O Lord keep me in your embrace always.
