PRAYER CHANGES THINGS
“And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.”
Matt 26:44
Main Text: Main text: Luke 22:41
Prayer changes things! This is not a cliché but a profound reality. The easiest way to change your predicament is through prayer. You may not have the best of clothes, but you can pray. You may not have food, but you can pray. You may not have money in your bank account, but you can pray! Prayer changes things—don't let anyone lie to you. Engage the force of prayer and watch how your life turns around.
Jesus said in Luke 18:1, “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes.” Prayer is crucial for the believer; it is the only way to change the trajectory of your life. Angelic help is released when you pray. As Jesus stated in Matthew 26:53, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” If you want to enjoy the ministry of angels, give yourself to prayer. Through prayer, you tap into divine assistance and heavenly intervention.
If you want to live beyond the ordinary, give yourself to prayer. You may not feel any change initially, but keep praying. One day, God will amaze you and reveal that a new you has emerged. Persist in prayer, for it is the key to unlocking extraordinary transformation in your life.
Confession:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of prayer. I declare that I will engage the power of prayer in every situation. No matter my circumstances, I know that You hear and answer my prayers. I refuse to be discouraged by what I see around me and choose to trust in Your unfailing love and power. Thank You for the peace that comes from knowing You are in control. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
