YOU ARE REDEEMED

“Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)”
Galatians 3:13 (AMP)
Main Text:

When Jesus died on the cross, He redeemed us. But the question is what did He redeem us from? The rest of the verse says “from the curse of the law”. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law! The curse of the law includes spiritual death, sickness and diseases and poverty.

When man fell, he died spiritually and lost all that he possessed in God. Gen. 3:22-24 tells us that man disobeyed God and was sent out of the garden and could no longer eat of the tree of life. Man became a slave to sin and death. Man died spiritually, and lost his place in God. Spiritual death is that which lays hold of one’s spirit rather than body. Spiritual death came first and then manifested itself in the physical body by destroying it.

John 5:26 “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” Jesus Christ had no death in Him. He was not born as we are born; He didn’t have spiritual death in Him (John 14:30). Yet in Hebrews. 2:9, he tasted death for everyman. He took upon Himself our condition of spiritual death. He became our substitute when our sin was placed on Him. He made you pass from spiritual death unto spiritual life.

Confession: Jesus redeemed me from the curse of the law, therefore, I am free, I enjoy liberty, I am prosperous, prosperity is mine, I am blessed beyond measure. I possess the Zoe life of God!
