THE POWER OF FAITH FILLED WORDS
“I am your only God, the living God. Wasn’t I the one who broke the strongholds over you and raised you up out of bondage? Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be!”
Psalm 81:10 (TPT)
Main Text: Main Text: Matthew 12:36-37
The phrase 'every idle word' refers to nonproductive expressions—words spoken without genuine belief. An example is saying, 'I'm dying of hunger,' where the statement isn't taken literally but is used for emphasis, highlighting the intensity of hunger without a true belief in imminent death. Each instance of uttering words without genuine conviction gradually desensitizes the heart. Unbeknownst to us, every idle word makes it slightly more challenging to trust that our sincere declarations will manifest when it truly matters. Jesus, recognizing the potency of words, He wielded them to transform the natural elements around Him.
Scripture says Open your mouth with a mighty decree! If I am going to give you one advice by the Spirit of God this year it’s let the Word of God be rich in your mouth, do not stop talking! Speak words your want to see because that is how you create the world you want to experience in 2024. Faith bridges the gap, bringing answers to prayers from the realm of the unseen to the realm of the seen.
Words possess the remarkable ability to carry significant power. They function as vehicles, bearing the essence of either faith or fear, life or death, freedom or bondage. Hebrews 4:12 affirms this, stating, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” God's Word encompasses the entirety of the human experience.
Confession:
I decree, Abraham’s BLESSING belongs to me. Abundance and prosperity are God’s will for my life, so I call myself debt free in Jesus’ Name. Everything I do prospers and succeeds. The wisdom of God helps me to make sound financial decisions. I am blessed and highly favored among men. I am blessed and highly favored of the Lord.

Hebrews 11:1-3 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”
