QUIET TIME 3

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalm 16:11 (AMP)
Main Text:

Most great men have habits that enrich their lives and make them outstanding. Dr. Dag Heward-Mills an exceptional Christian leader, revealed one of his secrets by saying that if anybody were to ask him what the greatest secret of his relationship with God was, he would say without hesitation – the power of the quiet time he has with God daily.

In the Bible, we see numerous names who observed their quiet time or hour of solitude. Men such as Moses, David, Adam, and Jesus. In order to have an enjoyable time in the presence of God, set a regular time you meet with God. It’s very important that you set a regular time. If you do not schedule a constant period for a quiet time, I assure you that you will leave it out and go on with your day without talking to God.

A quiet time is not a prayer meeting involving all members of your household. A quiet time is not another church service or fellowship meeting. It’s an intimate moment between you and your God. It’s a private moment that you must cherish. A quiet time is when you are alone with God.

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus, I declare that I receive revelation knowledge during my quiet time.
