MODERATION IS A VIRTUE

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.
1 Corinthians 8:9 KJV
Main Text:

It is a common say nowadays that people will address you the way you are dressed. One of the reasons immoralities is on the increase can be traced to lack of moderation in the way we dress. Everybody must wake up to moderation. What do you understand moderation to be? How do you explain it as a believer in Christ? The truth is our life will either affect people around us positively or otherwise. We are the source of impact and standard to others around us. Whether at home, on your street, or in your place of work, everywhere you go, some certain people are looking at you as moderation gauge. You must also note that your children and wards including those looking up to you are imbibing certain cultures they see from your behavioral attitudes. If care is not taken especially when you choose to live on the negative side of life without knowing, you will be leading people astray without knowing.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5 KJV

Be careful with your freedom and don’t misuse your liberty in Christ.

You have a beautiful life that can attract the salvation of others unto Christ. Drive your daily life with the consciousness of becoming a positive impact maker.

Dress to the glory of God and shun every look that will make people doubt you’re a Christian. Whatever the kind of appearance you cannot take to the office should not be carried before God. Some lifestyles may appear good to you but could discourage others from getting out of the yoke of sin. Anything that will cause your fellow human being to miss God should be avoided and through this sacrifice of yours some souls will be added to God’s kingdom. Be moderate, be disciplined and ready to impact those living and working around you positively.

Prayer: Help me to live moderately and continue as positive impact maker in Jesus’ mighty name.
