BELIEVE GOD’S REPORT
Let everyone in the world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when He spoke, the world began! It appears at his command.
Psalms 33: 8 – 9
Main Text:
God can promise us anything because He has more than enough resources to fulfill those promises. And, with God, nothing shall be impossible. The only impossible thing about God is that He cannot lie. Don’t wait to experience the spectacular before you believe God. He loves you and wants to fill your life with goodness of life that will make His name glorified in you. The only evidence you need is His Word. Remember, the Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1. Don’t wait to have your pocket filled with a lot of money before you declare your prosperity in Christ! Declare that you have life, health, peace and joy NOW, and your faith will produce results.
The power of His word cannot be underestimated by any reason. Get familiar with His word everyday of your life so that when troubles come, you would have been well fortified to attack with the prevailing Word of God in your mind. Do not take the words of prophecy for granted I plead with you.
So, faith is a very powerful spiritual force in the Kingdom of God; it’s the principle by which we live, and our faith is based on the Word of God. The Apostle Paul, knowing the power of our faith, declared, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Phillipians 4: 13. He had come to know from the Scriptures that he could never fail; he could never be defeated; he was a victor forever; nothing was going to make him think or believe otherwise because, God had shown Him the mightiness of His power on several instances.
You must be absolutely convinced that only what the Word says is real. faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Enjoy your year of prevailing Word!
Prayer: Father, let me always believe your report about me, in Jesus’ name.
