DON’T COMPROMISE REST
There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
Hebrews 4:9
Main Text:
God designs rest for your soul especially from your labour on the earth. You must bear this in mind so that you won’t continue endlessly in your struggle for survival without rest in view. In the current city where I live, I have seen several individuals working and walking without rest in view, people leave their house as early as 4.am in the morning to meet up resumption and still will get back home deep late in the night. That’s never God’s provision for His people. The Bible says in John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Your closeness to God and the relationship you build with Him will eventually bring you out from labour into favour which will ultimately lead to rest.
You need God to be free from fruitfulness labour on the earth. The Bible says, it’s not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord. Are you drawing closer to God by the day or you are running closer to the world. Your desired solutions and answers can never be given by any man. I want to remind you that the Bible says, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning, James 1:17. Jesus is the Shepherd of our souls but except we surrender totally, our spirits, souls and bodies unto him, we will not understand the secret of eternal blessings and rest. Don’t let your little brain deceive you, the Bible says, without God we can do nothing John 15:5. May you not continue to run toward failure in life. Get back on your knees and be reconciled back to God. Trust in him and not in any earthly relationship. You will arrive at your desired destination this year 2018 in the name of Jesus.
Prayer: I find rest for my labour in your embrace O Lord
