LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 24:44 KJV
Main Text:

Thieves walk in the dead hour of the night, a time no man is aware. Whenever a thief wants to visit a man, he doesn’t give a prior visitation letter but comes suddenly upon such a man. Jesus told us the reason in Matthew 24:43. The coming of our Lord Jesus will be a sudden event and so many will miss that glorious day. May you not miss out of this eternal plan of the Lord in Jesus’ name. At His second appearance in the sky, nothing on earth will matter again. The only point that will make sense is whether you are ready or not. Right from now, search your heart and consider your ways if you are truly ready to go with Jesus when He comes.

What the Almighty God wants from you is continuous readiness for your final rest. This world is full of stress and struggles and the more you run the more you discover you haven’t begun the race. Instead of running towards vanities and elements that won’t last eternally, why don’t you consider a life made ready for the Lord? Don’t allow your earthly pursuits to make you lose focus on divine provisions for your soul. As you journey to and fro your daily businesses, I encourage you to think of life after now. It won’t be palatable for those who will not reign with Jesus at the close of this age. How would you live your life differently today if you knew that Jesus was coming back in 24 hours? Therefore, surrender your life to Jesus if you are not yet born again and begin to walk circumspectly towards the great day of the Lord. Your place in God’s eternal kingdom will not be vacant in Jesus’ name.

Prayer: Father, don’t allow me to be carried away by my earthly pursuits. Help me to continue this race until you appear to take me home
