THE FINISHED WORKS OF CHRIST

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
John 19:30
Main Text:

The work is finished you are free. The statement it is finished means “Perfectly perfect completely completed” This means Jesus perfected everything that pertains to you. You enjoy freedom in Christ Jesus, you don’t have to work for God’s love or grace it’s been freely given to you by the death of our Lord Jesus. 2 Cor 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” You don’t have to live in bondage any day in your life. Christ overcame the power of sin, hell and the grave therefore, you enjoy peace and liberty in Christ.

Many at times, sickness and diseases weigh us down, they prevent us from being productive. At certain times in the week, month or year, you take ill and wonder why that sickness has authority over you, it’s simply because you haven’t understood that Jesus took away all those sickness and disease so that you don’t have to be sick another day in your life. When Jesus died, sicknesses and diseases weren’t absent therefore believe that Jesus took it away from you and you don’t have to suffer and spend excessively on medication any more in your life. Matt 8:17 “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."

The finished works of Christ also made the wisdom of God available to you, in order for you to come up with witty invention that will aid you in breaking the back of poverty. The finished works of Christ made wealth one of your redemptive heritages. God has a prosperity plan for you, He doesn’t want you poor, He desires that you finance the work of His Kingdom through His prosperity plan for your life.

Confession: I enjoy divine health, I have the life of Christ in me, therefore, I will not be sick another day in my life. I enjoy divine wealth; I am a kingdom financier. Glory to God.
