IT PAYS TO SERVE GOD
“And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”
Mal 3:17-18
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: Deuteronomy 28:1-2
It pays to serve the Lord. Serving God is not a waste of time, nor is it an activity to simply fill time or space. In fact, serving God is the greatest thing you can ever do for yourself! Scripture promises that God will distinguish between those who serve Him and those who do not. Serving God is far from being a futile effort—it is a life-transforming journey.
When you choose to be a servant of God, you invite Him to work in your life in extraordinary ways, changing you from the inside out. Those who serve the Lord are empowered to "do business in great waters," experiencing divine favor, wisdom, and success that others may not know. Serving God brings you into alignment with His purpose, positioning you for greatness and blessing beyond measure.
You may wonder, "Why should I serve God?" The answer is simple: serving the Lord is a powerful way to demonstrate your love for Him. Working for God, especially in His house, is the greatest privilege a person can be given. While meeting a president may be considered a great honor, working for God is an even greater one.
When you choose to work for God, you open the door to divine blessings that far exceed your expectations. Serving God brings you into alignment with His will and allows Him to prosper you in ways beyond what you could imagine. Make the decision today to serve the Lord, and watch as He honors your commitment with abundant grace and favor.
Confession:
I declare that I choose to serve the Lord, and as I commit to His service, my bread and water are blessed! Hallelujah! Amen.
