WHY NOT HAVE UNWAVERING FAITH?
“Who is he that speaks and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it?
Lamentation 3: 37
Main Text:
A neighbour of mine was returning from a journey and he had an accident which had a terrifying scene. Several people got injured in the accident but my neighbour came out unhurt. Infact, he was one of those that were helping other victims. At the scene of the accident, people told him that he must go for a check-up on account that he may have sustained internal injury. On getting to the hospital that same night, after examining him, the doctor said; “you can go, there is nothing wrong with you.” When this man got home and narrated the whole story to me, what surprised me most was why he had believed the doctor so absolutely that he was smiling with full display of happiness when he said that the doctor said nothing was wrong with him. Then I thought to myself, “if only men could believe God as much as they believe the doctors, their exercise of faith would have been so fantastic”.
What you believe has the way it affects your life, God made this life easy in such a way that one of the surest ways you can get something done is through your mind-your belief. God Himself, acknowledge this in Genesis 11: 6. Also, in Ephesians 3: 20, the same thing was emphasized.
Beloved of God, I don’t know what has been said about you and I don’t know what things you believe, but I know that it is your choice to have unwavering faith in Christ. I have a piece of advice for you – whatever anyone says or thinks about you that is contrary to what God says or thinks about you, must not be accepted, reject it fast!. Many people may have said many negative things about you, but it is the Lord’s that must stand. The Bible says what you sow you will reap, do not welcome evil declaration into your destiny.
Prayer: I choose to always believe Your Words for my life O Lord.
