DEATH HAS NO POWER OVER YOU

“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
1 Corinthians 15:54 (KJV)
Main Text:

A lot of believer fringe when they hear the word “death”, however, that’s not supposed to be. Jesus didn’t come to earth so we could fidget at the idea of death, but live life without the worry of dying prematurely. As believers, we have a covenant with God concerning long life therefore, we should fret because of the enemy called death. The scriptures say death has been swallowed up in victory! Ps 91:16 “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

Go to God’s Word and get God’s perspective on death. Make a study of it and once the reality of your immorality begins to dawn on you, the devil will never be able to threaten you with it again. When you are done with your work on the earth, you’re not going to die, you’ll simply shed your earthly shell and relocate to a far more glorious place.

If you’ve made Jesus the Lord of your life, the only death you’ll ever experience is behind you now. It occurred the instant you received Jesus Christ. At that moment, your old self died and you put on the nature of the real you – your spirit man. 2 Cor 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Confession: I walk in dominion, death has no power over me, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus therefore, I am satisfied with long life! I walk in the glory! I am an heir with Christ Jesus! I am holy, righteous and sanctified by Christ Jesus.
