SIGNS OF CARNALITY

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:3
Main Text:

To sustain the release of divine revelations in a divine life, you must constantly walk and dwell in the spirit. It is what you have that you will give out. You cannot be living in sins and expect to receive life transforming revelations of a divine life. Anyone who desires to enter into supernatural encounters with the Holy Spirit must first purge himself or herself of lustfulness (2 Timothy 2:21). Are you living in carnality? If you are living with “easily besetting sins”, you are carnal. If you envy others or you are jealous of their progress, you are carnal. If you lust after the things of the world, you are a sinner. If you hold a grudge against your fellow brother or sister but fail to settle with the fellow, you are carnal. Are you still keeping malice with your offender or seek to revenge the fellow instead of forgiving him or her? You are carnal, and that is not expected of a life of divine nature in Christ. Get the Word of God to purge you from carnality

A carnal Christian is one who after being saved has refused to mortify the deeds of the flesh. Carnality is very rife among Christians today because we think we can eat our cake and have it. You cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. If you try this, be rest assured that God does not accept such service. If you are causing divisions or you are insubordinate to higher authorities, particularly in church, you MUST repent. If you find it difficult to humble yourself under your pastor because he is not financially or materially blessed as you, get your mind purged by the Word of life. Are you struggling with sins? Let the Word of God dwell in you richly. Carnality can destroy your relationship with God and finally leads to hell.

Prayer: Ask for the Word of God to prevail in your life
