THE DAY IS NEAR
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:25 KJV
Main Text:
The day of the Lord is fast approaching. The signs of His second coming as established by the Word of God is now evident. The signal this beeps to a faithful believer is watch and pray for no one knows the very day He shall return. If your spiritual antenna is still very active and never out of spiritual network, then you will stay righteous and keep your garment clean against that glorious day of the Lord. For you cannot say when Jesus will appear to reap the harvest of the nations. Therefore, make your path straight and be ready to meet with your God. It’s not going to be long again, and if you will know, it’s going to be like the days of Noah. You are warned so be guided.
The Bible will help in your preparation for the second coming of Christ. This is the time you cannot joke with Biblical fellowships. The words of God in these meetings will keep you close to God and help sanctify your mind. The world will tell you the end is not near but if you walk with the faithful Christians, you will be encouraged to guard the loins of your heart because the day won’t be long.
Another thing you must do as believer is to encourage brethren all around you to continue steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine, in soberness of heart and holiness. I charge you this day to make yourself ready for your Lord and Saviour. Are you a source of succour to the weak and backsliding or you are also on your way to perdition? Keep moving forward for the Lord is almost here to take us home. Keep off sin! Avoid the contamination that’s in the world and be encouraged to live in accordance with the word of God.
Prayer: Father, show me the way this year and help me from deception that will take me off the path of godliness
