HE HEARS US!

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
1 Peter 3:12
Main Text: Main Text: 1 John 5:15

God desires a relationship with each of us, He delights to give us what we ask of Him in prayer. If God wasn’t interested in hearing us, there would be no reason for us to pray, however, we have this confidence that whenever we call on Him, he is there to hear us. God is not deaf; his ears are always ready to listen to your requests.

When we study the life of Jesus Christ, we see that he developed intimacy with the Father by separating himself to prayer. He knew the Father and recognized his voice, he knew God was willing to have a relationship with man, therefore, he gave us the blueprint on how to go about this relationship, one of the exhibitions of faith Jesus showed us is that when we pray, God hears us. Jesus said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me” (John 11:41).

You want to hear God for yourself, spend time with Him in the place of prayer and word study. Talk with Him and listen for His voice. You cannot know God when you are separated from Him. Come into His presence.

Prayer:

I thank you Father, that you always hear me, therefore, I have this confidence that my needs are met. Amen.
