PRAYER OF AGREEMENT 1
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
Matthew 18:19-20(ESV)
Main Text:
There are different kinds of prayer by which you can change things. There’s the prayer of agreement, binding, loosing, petition and supplication, intercession and united prayer. Always remember prayer changes things. It doesn’t change God. He remains the same forever. Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (NKJV) Most people think if they pray long and hard enough they will get God to do something for them. Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.” (NKJV) Through prayer, you tap into His strength and change the things that aren’t aligned in His will.
From scriptures, we see Jesus wants us to agree in prayer and when we do, we will see that our petitions will be granted. The word agree is broadened in the Amplified Bible as “harmonize together, make a symphony together”. The word symphony means “all available instruments in harmony”. In the prayer of agreement, your spirit, mind and actions are in agreement with God’s Word. Agreeing spiritually is to agree to the word of God. Make up your mind that God’s word will come to pass over your life. Today, never make any prayer outside the Word of God.
Confession: I declare, I have the grace I need for today. I am full of power, strength and determination. I have not missed my window of opportunity, God has moments of favor in my future, He’s preparing me right now because He is about to release a special grace to help me accomplish that dream. This is my time; this is my moment. Hallelujah!
