UNDERSTAND TIME AND OPPORTUNITIES

Time is an asset given by God to man. The way we manage it depends on the result we get from it. Time is slowly ticking away. You can slow down or rush your own time. You can put back or put forward your own time piece. But, God’s universal time transcends our control. We have to be careful not to miss opportunity of making the best of time we have. In Numbers 13 and 14, God asked the children of Israel to go and possess the Promised Land a great opportunity. And so, 12 spies were sent to check out the land. Ten of them gave discouraging reports. Only Joshua and Caleb saw the opportunities in the seeming difficulties. God stepped in and plagued the 10 spies and they died. By the time the congregation realized their error, they confessed and promised to go to the Promised Land. But God said it was already too late. Their fate had been sealed! All who left Egypt from age 20 and above were to die in the wilderness. Only the teenagers and children would make it. That is a classic case of missed opportunities in time allocations.

          Beloved, no amount of shed tears can turn the hands of the clock backward. Today can never be replayed here on earth; only the video recordings of today will be replayed for us in heaven. If God asks you to do something, He also sets the time for the project. It is the spirit of error that will make one to do the right thing at the wrong time or place. Many Christians are surrendering too late. Don’t lose your chance. Follow divine timing. This season is another opportunity for you to rearrange your life before God. You must understand your calling in His Kingdom and he time is now to involve in His assignment.

Prayer: When my chances come, let it not pass me by in Jesus’ name.
