LET YOUR SERVICE BE TO HIS WORD

“I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.”
Psalm 40:8
Main Text:

The Lord is not only watching your steps, He sees through your heart and He knows how genuine you are in your confession. God is the only one who judges the heart and mind. He’s able to confirm how true you are as a child of the kingdom. You can easily pretend before men but there’s no hiding place before God. He’s more than able to reward you according to your works and the state of your heart. Therefore, in dealing and working with God, you need to carefully check the state of your heart and also engage your hands productively. Your confession must be a direct match with your actions. You can only deceive men, you can never succeed in fooling God. He’s the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Therefore, your engagement in eye-service is a sheer waste of time. Such activities are no different from the deeds of unbelievers.

Another thing you need to keep away from your service to God is murmuring and baseless comparisons. You cannot murmur against the work of God, His people and your leaders without receiving your portion of His anger. Murmuring on its own is a clear sign of rebellion and that will bring you shame. Heavenly assignments are awarded to all according to the level of grace that you have received. You have to ensure that you fulfil your calling in a grand style and execute the works in your hands to a logical conclusion. You must guard your lips and avoid arrogance in your heart against God’s anointed and the Holy place. Those who murmured in the wilderness were destroyed of the destroyer and I know destruction is not your portion in Jesus name.

Do the work of an evangelist and don’t be a busybody in the destruction of the works of others. “… lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.” Psalm 40:9.

Prayer: Father help me to serve and represent you correctly without murmuring
