GET SET FOR THE MASTER’S USE

“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
2 Timothy 2:21
Main Text:

Beloved of God, you will not gain anything glorious by living in immorality and waywardness. The only offer from the devil is death and ultimate destruction in hell a place of perpetual torment. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.John 10:10.

Jesus is the author and finisher of all good things, therefore your decision to follow Him is the best you can ever make. He will bless you here on earth and also qualify you as a citizen of His heavenly kingdom.

God is holy and He can never behold iniquity. Any sin in your heart will only prevent you from seeing His holy face. In choosing His vessels, God will only consider those ones that can be used to the honour and praise of His holy name. He will never choose in a hurry. If God will attract you to His side, you must wash yourself clean and make your life holy and acceptable unto Him. You cannot grow in the Lord if your life is not in accordance with the standards of the Word of God. “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19.

Is God using you at the moment to the glory of His name? Please continue in that same level of righteousness and never allow pride to get into your heart. Concentrate on the Word of the Lord and don’t ever look back. If you will obey Him totally, He will never drop you but prune you so that you will bear more fruits to the glory of His name.

Prayer: Father, please separate me from anything that will not allow me to be a vessel unto Your glory
