A WILL TO WIN
.... A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
Luke 10: 30
Main Text:
In life, the attitude which separates a failure from success is courage, guts, a will to win, a glory desired to attain. Most people, who had become outstandingly successful, had times where they feel like throwing in the towel but a passion for success keeps them going. Think of David who had his own share of depression and discouragement when his city was burnt down and his wives taken captives including his men’s wives, children and properties but the scripture says and David encouraged himself in the Lord His God I Samuel 30: 6. Think of Joshua – Be strong and courageous, don’t be terrified, and don’t be intimidated wherever you go for your days are full of greatness. Joshua 1:19.
Beloved you may at this point be faced with challenges, issues, pressure that speaks nothing to you than to give up. Please bear in mind that things don’t always work out the way we planned at the initial stage. Take a cue from the above scripture, you will agree with me that things sometimes may not work out as you envisaged, that is why we are told that better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.
A man set out on a journey from Jerusalem to Jericho but unfortunately, he was attacked by robbers, who stripped him of his belongings and dashed his hope in life, leaving him half dead by the way side. Though he was stripped off his resources he was willing to live, hopeful and courageous, he did not give up the ghost. No wonder his willingness to survive attracted a helper who was ready to make sure that he bounced back to life. Beloved, don’t give up, no matter the situation, hope in God and sooner than you think God will come around for you.
Prayer: Lord help me not to give up at the edge of my miracle
