ARE YOU IN THE LORD’S ARMY?

“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
2 Timothy 2:4
Main Text:

Every child of God is a soldier and a representative of Christ on earth and must be battle ready everyday to put the enemies where they belong. That is why you must constantly check where you belong. If you are listed in the Lord’s army it will show in your lifestyle and attitude, but as a civilian you have little or no space in the kingdom glory.

God is raising generals in these last days. People that will be consumed with the King’s mission of good works and are ready to occupy till He comes. The Bible says: “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:14.

What are you doing with the salvation you have received? Are you part of the end time soldiers of the Lord? Your decision for Christ will determine your placement on earth. If your focus is all about ‘enjoying the world’, you don’t belong. You need to be separated for the Master’s use. “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2.

I think you can as well judge the way you are running the kingdom race and assignment to proof if you are in the Lord’s army or not. You can’t make the list if you can’t take a bold step to be eternally separated from the things of the flesh. You cannot fight in the battle of life and not be wounded except you are supported by divine allies. Think about your life! Are you battle ready? Can you boldly say you are part of His end time mission?

Prayer: Make me fit for your kingdom’s use O Lord.
