REMEMBER THE TIME OF THE ARK

“And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:39
Main Text:

In our world today, the greatest help we can render to each other is to keep the warnings of the Lord concerning the end of age which is the present time of life. “This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:” 2 Peter 3:1. Life on earth is too short if compared with eternity in heaven. It’s therefore expected that a wise heart will use the greater part of this lifetime in preparing for the life after death. If you will like to exercise yourself at all, I think you should engage in spiritual exercise that will culminate in your eternal life in Christ. 1 Timothy 4:8.

You need to look inwards and consider those activities that have taken your eyes off the Lord and shifted your focus from eternal life. It’s not strange that you have many pursuits in life, however, I want to advise you in the light of God’s word to start thinking about the happenings in the days of Noah. Our present world is no different from that which we read about in the text above. We are driven by worldliness and advancement in technology. Please don’t forget that God made all things available at your disposal, not for you to abandon God but to allow you return all glory unto Him for He is the giver and owner of wisdom. Remember now, how you started with the Lord, where are you now? Eternity in heaven or eternal life in hell. You cannot continue your life in sin and expect to make eternal life. It’s a new month, let’s start a new life in God and reposition ourselves to see God in this year of His Kingdom.

Prayer: Father, please help me to consider my ways and start thinking of my home above.
