SPEAK THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD 2

The Bible says it’s by the grace of God that you are saved, it is not of works that any man should boast. That same grace gives you power over every spirit of lying that the devil might want to use against the saints. You are not of the devil, a liar, for devil is the father of all lies. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 2 John 1:9 KJV

Abide in the doctrines of Christ. That’s the essence of your calling. You can’t be a true disciple of the cross without living in the truth. You will have to speak and teach the truth always. Say it in love and avoid the fear of men. So many preachers may not love to expose the secret works of darkness because of what they will gain from their listeners. Read the letters of Apostle Paul to Titus and Timothy. He emphasised the preaching of nothing but the truth. His messages covered every sphere of life. Don’t celebrate youthful lust and ungodliness. Pastors, youths and anyone who will make it to heaven at last must stand for nothing but the truth. Give good advice to those who are working on the path of unrighteousness and corruption. Let your family and friends be sure you are for the truth. Speak the word of God with every sense of honesty and rebuke the works of the devil and the importation of ungodliness. We are called ambassadors of Christ. Let’s be guided by the living word of God. You will not miss out of the plan and agenda of God for your destiny in this year of His Kingdom.

Prayer: Father, help our generation to heed only the truth in the word of God
