YOU ARE PERFECT IN CHRIST

You are perfect in Him forever! You aren’t walking towards perfection; you are already perfect. The idea of walking towards perfection depicts works, however, God’s grace has been freely given to us such that by accepting the Lord Jesus as savior, you become perfect!

Since the day you accepted Jesus and for all eternity, you are perfect. This has nothing to do with your abilities, talents, or good works. You simply became perfect when Jesus took all your sins upon Himself on the cross and gave you His perfection – His garment without spot or blemish as a substitute.

In Gen 17:1 (AMP), God tells Abram to walk before Him and be perfect, blameless, wholehearted and complete. Abram didn’t have the Greater One in Him, He didn’t have the gift of salvation, however, he enjoyed perfection. Therefore, what makes you think you are not good enough to be perfect ? In reality, God doesn’t look at our flaws, He decided not to out of His immense love for us. In fact, God erases them and makes us…perfect, like Him, for He “…cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.”  Colossians 2: 14

Confession: I boldly declare, I am perfect, I walk in perfection, I am holy, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
