FUNCTIONING IN GRACE

Grace is the divine influence on the human spirit that reflects on the outside of a man’s life producing favors, beauty, charm, goodwill etc. Grace is the God-factor in the race of life .it is the promoting power of God and that is what causes you to move from one level of glory to another. Apostle Paul admonished Timothy (II Tim 2: 2) “Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus,’ in other words “take advantage of that grace.’’ that means according to the scripture grace is one of your heritage as a child of God. But so many Christians are not enjoying that. Jesus said without me you can do nothing (John 5: 5). This year for you to reign you have to function in that grace continually.

One of the ways to function in His grace is to be conscious of His Word. This has to come to your consciousness now that you are born again that His Word is the final authority in your life.

Another way is through your confession there is a saying that “what you confess is what you possess,” you know some folks say words like “ I am finished “ and to be sincere the devil is always on the stand by to take our words against us. I can understand why some parents fight it out with their children’s teacher when they called them stupid and dullard in the classroom. They want to challenge every negative word sown into their wards. Beloved, we must endeavor to sow the word of grace every moment of our lives.

Be wise this year and speak the blessing of God upon your life. Remember there is power in your tongue. So as you wake up in the morning begin to speak prophetically into the day. Refuse to have a better yesterday but look with hope into the future. The future belongs to you, so activate the Word of grace to be able to live in victory.

Prayer: Grace will be sufficient for me today in Jesus’ name
