BETTER CALL UPON JESUS
Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know Him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early springâ€
Hosea 6:3
Main Text:
I will like to share an experience that got me on alerts when it was relayed to me. It was a story, a true life I once shared with us on this page, just permit me to do so again. A brother once lived in America for about twenty years. He was well responsible to his family members and friends. But for a woman, his life travails came up suddenly. He never knew his offence was failure to send shoes to the woman who was not even a member of his family. Next thing, the woman got a figurine, a carved wooden object- a male to represent the man. Every morning, she confessed evil to the object, which has direct impact in the life of the man. Not quite long, the life of this man became miserable until he ran home empty handed.
The message here is that, if ordinary human could be strong enough to manipulate human destiny through, how much more is the power of God resident in us? If you call on God, He will respond. The Bible says call upon me in the day of trouble and I will answer you.
God promises that He is nearer to those who call upon His name. It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re going through; He is your deliverer. He’ll bring light into your path in this year of His Kingdom; He’ll bring rain into your dry places; He’ll bring restoration and healing. When you call on His name, you can be assured that He will answer.
Sometimes, people think they have to clean themselves up or change their behaviour or habit before they can turn to Him, but that’s not what God says. He is ready to receive you just as you are. Even if you feel like a mess, He’ll take clean the mess and make you a testimony.
Prayer: My head will not abhor evil in Jesus’ name.
