HEALING THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS

When you take communion, what do you think of? Healing, deliverance, breakthrough, witty ideas? Most believers take the token of the blood and say “Thank God we are free from sin, hell and the grave!” Praise God for this, but there’s more stored up in the communion.

God in His wisdom saw it fit to ensure Jesus’ sacrifice covered up every area of man’s existence. He bore spiritual torment for our sins, mental distress for our worry, care, sorrow and fear. More so, He took your physical pain in sickness and diseases. The stripes He bore and the blood He shed were for your healing. By his stripes you were healed!

The scriptures say “Himself took” this is a very powerful phrase it indicates that God gave everything He had to redeem mankind from the curse. Gal 3:13 “Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified).”

Confession: In the name of Jesus and by the Blood of Jesus, I declare – I am delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light! Therefore, I am free from sicknesses and diseases! I walk in the light of God; I enjoy divine health! I am blessed of the Lord!
