GOD’S WILL FOR MAN
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.â€
3 John 2 (KJV)
Main Text:
Once you believe it’s God’s will to prosper you, wondering how He is going to do it will no longer be your concerns. Is He going to send in a fat bank cheque? Is manna going to fall down one more time? No, He’s going to do it by prospering your soul. He’s going to plant the seeds of prosperity in your mind, will and emotions and as they grow, they’ll produce a great financial harvest.
In the book of Genesis, we see the story of Joseph. He was sold as a slave to the Egyptians, he didn’t have a dime to his name. Right in the middle of slavery, God gave Joseph such a wisdom and ability that he made his owner prosper. As a result, He put Joseph in charge of all his possessions. Down the line, Joseph was thrown in prison, there’s not much opportunity for advancement in jail, but God gave him insight that no other man in Egypt had. That insight landed him a position on Pharaoh’s staff not as a slave but as the most honored man in the entire country next to Pharaoh himself. (Gen 39, 40 & 41)
How did God accomplish all that? By prospering Joseph’s soul. No matter how bad his situation was, no matter how impossible his situation became, no matter how bleak his dream became, God was able to reveal the spiritual secrets that would open the doors of success for him. God desires to prosper you and all that concerns you, regardless of how impossible the situation seems, with God there’s a way out and therein lies your prosperity!
Confession: I am prosperous in my soul, I enjoy divine health, I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I am blessed beyond measure! I possess the mind of Christ!
