MY STRONGHOLD AND REFUGE, JESUS!

“My God, my Rock, in Him will I take refuge; my Shield and the Horn of my salvation; my Stronghold and my Refuge, my Saviour--You save me from violence. I call on the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies”
II Samuel 22:3-4 AMP
Main Text:

In this world, many of us have seen different things that are really frightening. A brother once shared with me his experience at a private school where he once worked as a teacher. The staff members were subjected to untold hardship and strange practices. Sometime they were forced to eat ‘akara’ (beans cake) some other time it is grains of maize scattered everywhere in school. It was later he knew the owner was using those things to tie down destinies. The brother eventually left within 2months when his spirit man resisted the forces of darkness in operation in that environment.  God is our Refuge, our Help in time of need.

When life seems uncertain, when things seem unstable, remember God is your Rock and Refuge! You can only find safety and protection in the name of the Lord. The scripture tells us that the name of the Lord is a Strong Tower. When you are in a strong tower, you are safe from the storms of life. You are protected and hidden from your enemies. The only people that know their God shall do exploit in this 2019. Any exploit devoid of God’s presence is nothing. When the economy seems unpredictable and it appears the positive change we expect does not look like it, as believers, God is our stronghold.

When your job or home situation seems unstable, God is your stability. When you rely on Him, you can stand on the solid ground. You can have confidence and peace because He is well able to take care of anything that concerns you. As you declare God’s Word over your life, it will strengthen and empower you. His truth will be established in your heart and you, in the Word of God throughout this years!

Prayer: I will always hide in You my Rock my Lord
