GIVE YOUR BEST TO IT
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Job 8:7 KJV
Main Text:
God respects small things while men respect big things and that is where the difference lies. If you will be wise and make it with God, you’ve got to start respecting small things.
Start giving your best to your future when it is still small. It is the deception of the devil for you to wait till when it is big before you start taking it serious. The reason many people who should be leaders in churches today are not is because when God brought them to that church while it was still small, to make it a part of their future, they didn’t take the church serious, and so when the church became big, they became politicians saying, “We came before them. Look at people that met us in church, they are being made Pastors.” These are spiritual rascals and gamblers. They were discouraging the pastor in the beginning by their carelessness. They didn’t come on time when the church was small. They would sit down carelessly in church. If the pastor gave up at that time, will the church have become big? If your future is going to happen, you have to take it serious when it is small. Take that business serious when it is still a small corner shop with few or no customers. Put in excellence at that time. God has given you a picture of that future. He designed it but you will construct it and you cannot construct it on nothing and emptiness.
Are you despising little beginning? Stop and embrace your glorious future by faith in Jesus Christ. Do the needful and that great destiny will emerge with time as put your absolute trust in God. There is no wasted effort in God’s assignment. You will surely laugh last as you continue in your pursuit of the visions. It is well with your effort
Prayer: Father, the door of my heart is opened. Please come in and relate with me. Come in and dine with me.
