GOD IS NOT SLACK OVER HIS WORD
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 KJV

In today’s world the word or a promise of a man is not regarded or counted very highly of. So many years back, a man’s word or promises were all you needed. To certain level, you can be at rest with word of men those days. Many business deals and other dealings were done with just a short hand written note.
But in today’s world, integrity is lost, it is all about deception. Men state today, I give you my word or I promise, when he has no real intentions on fulfilling his obligation or promise that he has made. Wow! What a world we now find ourselves!
The word of the Lord must surely come to pass. God will never lie. Every spoken and written promise of the Lord is time bound and with much patience and endurance of faith, we shall see the manifestations of God upon the earth and in our lives if we faint not.
The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is a sure promise that will never fail. Don’t join the world to believe that He’s not coming again. Jesus is coming to take His saints to the side of God. It’s wisdom to live ready to see Him when He shall appear again to take us home. Don’t allow the world’s wisdom shift your focus of reality of eternal life. In John 14:3, Jesus said, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Are you ready for the close of this age? Check your life and look inwards. Consider your ways and amend the errors therein. He’s coming for a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle or any blemish. Be ready!
Prayer: Don’t allow the deceitfulness of riches to make me depart from your promise of eternal life O Lord
