It is a stubborn chicken that the mother hen loses to the hawk. The moment a mother hen senses danger, she gathers the chicks under her feather for brooding and at that point, no matter how powerful a hawk may be, it cannot get at the brooded chicks. Sadly, any chick outside covering at that time is a prey.

Everything shakes a man outside the coverings of the Almighty. You can only be empowered to succeed in this cruel world if you dwell continually on the Word and pray ceaselessly. The world of fashion cannot bail you out! Riches and fame are not your ways of escape. Wealth and affluence will fail you in the battles of life. You must know your God to be called a Christian on the earth.

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1).

Where is your dwelling place? In the presence of God or the company of your sinner friends. Where lies your strength and power? In God or your riches and influence? Don’t be deceived, you cannot be secured outside divine protection. Get all the soldiers of this world, they will fail you when the battles of life roll in. This is your time to get back to God. You have suffered sickness, poverty and the attack of the wicked enough! You have been cheated and robbed enough. Don’t allow the devil anymore. Reject evil relationships with sinners and be connected to God and His people. Let go and let God. Get started with true devotion to God and be loaded with His word for your desired testimonies. I pray for you this day, you will never be trapped in the snare of the fowler that lurks around to destroy your tender soul.

Prayer: Father, get me into your secret place and grant me access to the blessings of heaven.
